The product is easy to clean and disinfect, which is the first thing I checked for. I don’t want a chair that would be difficult to clean since I have an issue with my back. Likewise, the seat has some tiny holes that allow the water from the shower to flow away into the shower. I don’t need to bend the chair to get the water out, and the seat doesn’t slip when it’s wet. The seat is sturdy, but it doesn’t hurt my butt like some other bath chairs.
I feel very comfortable in this shower chair, but I am sure it would be better if designed with a backrest. I don’t mind paying extra dollars for that feature. The legs can also be adjusted to increase or decrease the height to fit me. I love that too.
